Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Five are regarded as martyrs: They are those who die because of plague, abdominal disease, drowning or a falling building etc., and the martyrs in Allah's Cause." [Sahih al-Bukhari 2829]

We ask Allah to shower his mercy on those who have been killed, and to grant them Jannat al-Firdous al-A'la. And we ask Allah to protect our brothers and sisters in Morocco and Libya, to grant them safety and security, to place relief in their homes and in their hearts, to strengthen them with patience, and to make this difficult trial an expiation for their sins.

There are various Muslim organizations on the ground working to help those afflicted by this calamity; AMA is working with masajid across Ottawa and other charitable organizations to support those who have been afflicted.

We kindly ask for your generosity. For PayPal and INTERAC e-Transfer donations please put 'For Relief Efforts' as the comment.
